I am pleased to announce that EcoGardens Landscape Design has been honored with the prestigious Award of Merit in Landscape Design by the Perennial Plant Association for our project titled “Garden of Resilience: A Waterwise Haven that Never Rests.” Further information about the award can be found at https://perennialplant.org/page/2024LDAWinners” . The project's primary objective was the removal of traditional lawns and the incorporation of drought-tolerant perennials that flourish in full sun, emphasizing a sustainable and water-efficient design approach.
It was a privilege to be among distinguished design firms at the 2024 PPA National Symposium in Asheville, North Carolina on Tuesday, July 30.

“This year the Perennial Plant Association received another outstanding compilation of project entries for the judging committee to evaluate, diversely spread over 8 entry categories. The committee selected 14 award winners. Award recipients received either an Award of Merit or Award of Excellence, which is the highest landscape design award.
