Perennials Front Yard Retreat

Our 'Sustainability Showcase' front yard design integrates innovative features to enhance both sustainability and functionality. Enclosed veggie beds protect crops from local wildlife, ensuring a steady harvest year round. Mature Coast Live Oak and Valley Oak, Redwood and Elm trees provide a natural backdrop, framing two distinct seating areas: a welcoming picnic spot and a cozy circular fire pit area. The gravel permeable picnic area and GraniteCrete throughout paths promote natural water infiltration. The landscape blends drought-resistant plants with edible options suited to our environment.  This holistic approach not only promotes biodiversity but also fosters a harmonious balance between nature and human interaction.
